THE HOT WEATHER IS HERE
Now that we are back in Alabama I always forget how hot it is here. I was tricked the first 2 weeks we were here because it is was nice and cool and we were really enjoying it. Now it is right back to the hot weather like every summer. The kids love every minute of it because everyday they can and go outside unlike Belgium before we left it would rain and it was cold. No cold weather here just hot, hot, and hot. The summer means more than just hot weather it also means hard off-season workouts. Now that I am 33 it becomes harder and harder on my body to shoot, run, and lift on the same day but it gets done. I still love working out and working on my game, yesterday I went to workout and I guess I was gone too long according to my wife because she sent my mom to the gym to check and see if I hadn’t passed out from the heat because a 3 hour workout is too long for the Alabama heat.
This past Saturday was the first session on the bitty basketball and it went well we had 12 kids there. Just 1 kid left before the session was over so 11 out of 12 kids is not a bad ratio. Happy to see the 12 kids that showed and I hope you had fun. See you in 2 weeks………..
