THE SEASON IS OVER
Sunday we played our last game of the year. Since it was the last game of the season and only 3 players from the other team were told that they would be back, that left 9 guys knowing it would be their last game with that team. The motivation for them was gone. They started off well because we were only up 1 point(21-20) at the end of the 1st quarter. The 2nd was something else we went into halftime up 55-29. Trust me it was really over then. At the end of the 3rd it was 90-44 with the final score 112-58. Even though we knew it was the last game of the year we didn’t take it easy on them or felt sorry for them when you get on the court you play all out or go home. I finished with 27 points in 25 minutes 6-6 from 3.
My stats for the year: 19.3 points 6.7 rebounds 3 assists 1 steal 1.9 turnovers per game. I shot 91-176 (52%) from 2; 74-188 (39%) from 3; 99-108 (92%) from the free throw line. Total field goals 165-364 (45%) in 26 games.
